I finished this pug cartoon yesterday evening.

 

The painting process - Gray Wolf in acrylics

Wolf painting

This is what I have been working on during the past month. I wanted to paint a wild animal, and I like to paint dogs, so why not paint a gray wolf? The canvas measures 12" X 12".

I plan to take a better photo of the painting when I varnish it next year.

More dog cartoons

A few days ago I started drawing a dog cartoon... then I drew another... and another... and I kept drawing cartoons until my paper was filled up and my hand was hurting.

 

Second Molly painting complete

Here is the finished painting of my dog Molly. It is the largest painting on canvas I've done to date. The canvas measures 30" X 15" and it is thick, so I painted the edges also.
